How to Get a Screenshot of your Page to send in Support Chats

How to take a screenshot on Windows

The easiest and quickest way in windows is to press <ALT> <PrtScn> at the same time and this puts the entire screen in the clipboard. You can then use <CNTR> <V> to paste that screen anywhere, even in our Dropified Chatbox which will be sent automatically in the chat as shown below.

How to take a screenshot on your Mac Computer

  1. To take a screenshot, press and hold these three keys together: Shift, Command, and 3.

  2. If you see a thumbnail in the corner of your screen, click it to edit the screenshot. Or wait for the screenshot to save to your desktop.

If you want to get a nice screenshot that you want to edit and add text then we recommend several apps such as:

Screenpresso Free: you can get that here and it can be installed and stay active all the time. All you have to do when you want a screenshot is press <PrtScr>

Lightshot: Allows you to select a specific area that you just want to capture and then draw box, arrows or even put text. You just need to click on PrtSc on your keyboard once installed.
