The default Dropified settings will be ideal for most users, but if you're looking for a complete guide on what everything does, read on!

Most Dropified settings are adjusted from the Settings section on your account homepage.

On this page:

Products Import

  • Price Markup  - The markup percentage that you set here will be used during the product importing process and for auto price updates based on your Alerts settings.

The formula is as follows: Price + (Price * Markup Percentage) = Marked up Price

Example for product that costs $10 and Price Markup percentage at 100%:

    10 + (10 * 1.00) = $20

  • Compare At Price Markup - The compare at price is the price you would sell a product at when it is full price. When you use this there will be two prices showing on your storefront. The sale price and the compare at a price which was the original price you would have had on the product before your sale. This price is shown next to your regular price. You can use this to indicate discounts or sales from the regular full price. Enter a percentage that you want to add to the Marked up Price. This percentage will be much lower than your Markup that you set in the Settings.

Note: Check out this article for more details about Price Markup and Compare at Price Markup.

  • Price Cents Value - All products that are imported or updated through Dropified will use the value that you set here for the price cents. If you want all prices to end in $X.99 then enter 99 here.

  • Compare At Price Cents Value - Products that you import through Dropified will use the value-added here for the Compare at Price cents.

  • Default Weight Unit - Specify the units you want to use for imported products when you set a fixed weight.

  • Fixed Weight - Enter a value to import all items with the same weight or leave it blank.

  • Advanced Markup Rules - Create markup rules based on price ranges to be used during the product importing process and for auto price updates via the Alerts feature.

  • Default Product Description - Choose if you want to import the supplier's description, a simplified version of this, set your own custom description, or import no description.

  • Make Products Visible - Enable this option to make sure your products are visible in your store after importing through Dropified.

  • Sync Product Inventory when Importing products - Enable this to import the inventory quantity to your store.

  • Sync Product Inventory when changing supplier - Enable this to update the inventory when you change the Default supplier.

  • Update Product Vendor when Default Supplier is changed - Enable this to change the Vendor name in your store when you switch Default supplier.

  • Randomize Images file names when importing products - This option changes the imported image file's name to random alpha-numeric characters. Enabling this can help to prevent the customer's from finding out where the image was imported from.

Auto Fulfill

  • Order Phone Number - An order phone number is required when placing orders through Dropified. You can save your own phone number or use some other values like 1234567890. You might choose to override the customer's phone number to prevent any chance of the seller contacting your customer.

  • Custom Note To The Supplier - Enter a message to pass to the seller with every order, such as, "We are dropshipping. Please do not include any notes, invoices, or promotions. Thank you."

  • Aliexpress Shipping Method  - Select the shipping method that will always be used during the auto ordering process. Selecting "Default" will select the first available shipping method that is offered by the supplier. Note: If the selected shipping method is not available during the ordering process, Dropified will use the "Default" option.

You can also preset specific shipping methods for each item via Advanced Mapping.

  • Automatically Mark as Ordered - Enabling this option adds the Supplier Order ID into the order in Dropified after the auto ordering process, thereby marking it as "Order Placed".

  • Automatically Fulfill - Enable this option to automatically detect when a supplier dispatches an order and then notify your customer and fulfill the order in your store. We recommend you enable it.

  • Send Shipping Confirmation - Enable this option to notify your customers when their orders are fulfilled. We trigger the default Shipping Confirmation email from your store to get sent to the customer.

Auto will send one email when all items in the order are shipped, and Always will send an email after each item in the order is shipped.

  • Only when Tracking Number is valid - Enable this option to only send the Shipping Confirmation email if the tracking number can be tracked by Aftership or USPS.

AliExpress

  • Enable Auto Captcha Solving - Dropified can automatically solve the Captchas during the auto ordering process in AliExpress.

  • Fix AliExpress Address Province Selection issues - AliExpress doesn't have a full list of provinces for each country. When the province or region is unavailable, we will select "Other" in the AliExpress order form.

  • Fix AliExpress Address City Selection issues - If the U.S. City the user entered is not found in the AliExpress dropdown, the app will select “Other” from the dropdown and add the City name to the second address input (Also apply to Spain customers).

This option is only a workaround for this AliExpress limitation. Please enable it only if you understand the behavior and it works for you. We do not recommend or guarantee your packages will be delivered because of this.
